May 19, 2005 I went to Hot Springs, Arkansas to photograph a very small, intimate wedding that took place at Garvin Gardens. This was one of the most beautiful locations I’ve seen for an outdoor wedding. The humidity was a killer, but the resulting photos were worth it. Both Lauren and James seemed to be so at ease in front of the camera and she had a fabulous smile.
I look back at their photos from time to time and remember how much fun we had with them. Here are three random shots that I really like from their wedding day.
We started the day at The Arlington Hotel where the wedding party got ready. The Arlington is one of my favorite hotels, and with its old architecture, it lends itself to great photography. Plus, it’s simply a beautiful place to visit.
