Kelly, Senior 2008

Kelly and her friend, Chelsea, have been on me about getting these on the blog. So, I’m getting caught up on all the editing I have to do and decided to take a break and catch up on the blog a bit.

I met Kelly earlier this year when she and Chelsea stopped by the studio to sell us advertising space in the Cotter Warrior yearbook. She seemed so quiet then, but after spending the afternoon with her, I found out that she is anything but quiet. Trisha and I absolutely loved our session with her. She’s got an incredible smile and a beautiful serious stare.

Here are a few random selections from her gallery…

Amie, Senior 2008

We took Amie to a location that one would not normally think of for senior portraits and ended up with some amazing stuff. There’s not much that I can write that will better explain our session than simply showing you the photos. Here are five random picks from her gallery.

Stephonie, Senior 2008

Each semester we have an intern from the high school in Mtn. Home and this semester it is Stephonie. We were finally able to get Stephonie’s senior portraits finished after waiting out some bad weather. Some of you who have called the office may have had opportunity to speak to her on the phone, and now is the time to put a face to the voice.

We absolutely love having her here with us and are thrilled to blog some of our favorites from her session.

Sam & Kim - Mountain Home, AR

This was the last wedding we photographed in 2007, and it happened to be here in Mtn. Home for a great couple. The first time I met Sam & Kim to discuss possibly shooting their wedding, I knew we were going to get along great together. They were looking for a laid back experience where we’d let them have their day without a lot of direction and interference. That’s what they got and in return, we were able to get some great photographs.

Both Sam and Kim gave us a lot of access to their private moments throughout the day and made us feel as if we truly were just part of their group. More than that though, they were not afraid to play and have fun.

Here are a few of our favorite shots from the wedding day.

A bridal session with Lauren

So, here’s a sneak peak of Lauren’s bridal session. This is what I love about my clients. Lauren wasn’t worried about getting her dress dirty. (that’s why we have dry cleaners) She wanted awesome bridal portraits. I’ll post these two tonight, but when I update the blog with their reception photos from this past weekend, I’ll post a couple more of my favorites from her bridal session as well.

I went to Next Level Events in Little Rock this past Saturday to photograph Chris’ and Lauren’s reception and they had two 20×30 photographs from the bridal session on display… one of the second photo I’ve posted and one that is similar to the first photo I’ve posted…. and if I may say so, they looked incredible.  It’s always a cool feeling to see your clients be so thrilled with their photos that they want to display such large prints.

When I get caught up on my weddings that I need to blog, I’ll post more from the reception.

Brent & Brittney - Hamburg, AR

So I’m still trying to catch up on getting my blog posts made. Let’s get started with a wedding from December in Hamburg, AR. Brent and Brittney had a beautiful Christmas themed wedding with such incredible decorations and colors. Trisha and I spent a good portion of the day simply trying to document all the different details that had been incorporated into the wedding day.

The had one of the most amazing Christmas trees, that I’d ever seen, as a centerpiece at the reception. One of my favorite things though were the little Santa Claus handles on some of the knives.

Anyway, today is the day we get back into the swing of keeping the blog updated… and with that, here are a few of my favorite shots from Brent’s and Brittney’s wedding day.

Thanks for letting Trisha and I share your wedding day with you and for making us feel like we were part of the family.

b2 portraits updated

We’ve updated our portrait site, b2portraits.com and added 68 new photos to the galleries and home slide show. We’ve also taken a trip back to 1974 with a bit of green.  I’m pretty sure we had kitchen appliances that were this same color.
